This building holds a special place in history, as it was the only monastery founded by the Premonstratensian Order in the Kingdom of Navarre.
Due to its sobriety, simple lines and characteristic red masonry, the late 17th century cloister is both singular and beautiful. Besides an interpretative and exhibition space, the building also has a viewing area over the cloister, where we can contemplate and enjoy its architecture.
This room serves to present a trip from its origins as a pilgrim hospital until the present, via a tour beginning in the 11th century which familiarises us with the monastery’s evolution and the paths taken by travellers on this old route of St James and the history and life ofUrdazubi/Urdax.
